As could be seen from the documents for the AGM of the Swiss Sailing Federation, Swiss Olympic paid more than 1 million in corona compensation to the sailing federation and its members in 2020, and the federation's management expects a similar sum for 2021.
Unfortunately, there is no Corona compensation for us from Sailing-News, although we are strongly affected by the months-long regatta breaks - neither from the federation nor directly from the state. We are therefore still urgently dependent on your "Corona help" to be able to continue our work. Thanks to our work, sailing continues to be the only sport that can provide daily competition news...even at Christmas or New Year.
