Seasons Greetings !

Last year, the Vendée Globe fleet was in the approach to Cape Horn at Christmas. This year, it is calmer over the holidays as the Maxi-Trimaran Spindrift with Yann Guichard FRA/Dona Bertarelli SUI postponed the start of the round the world record attempt (Trophée Jules Verne), and also the Ultime-Trimaran Use-it-again with Romain Pilliard FRA/Alex Pella ESP continues to wait for a suitable weather window for their record attempt around the globe, but in the opposite direction from east to west. On 26 December, however, the action is sure to continue: in addition to the Sydney-Hobart Race, there are numerous holiday classics on the program. We report daily - as always.
