IRC - Sydney-Hobart Race 2021 - Sydney AUS - Day 1

The start of the 83rd Sydney Hobart Race took place in Sydney this morning at 2 a.m. UTC. As expected, the three 100-foot supermaxis pulled away at the start. 'Scallywag' with David Witt AUS was the first to reach the open sea, but then had to let 'LawConnect' with Christian Beck AUS and 'Black Jack' with Peter Harburg MON pass after problems with a jib halyard.
