Optimist, ILCA 4 & 6, 29er, Nacra 15 - Dutch Youth Regatta - Workum NED - Day 1

There was a lot of wind at the start of the Dutch Youth Regatta on the Ijsselmeer, which is very well attended again this year. After 3 races, Lars Dittel SUI leads the Optimist classification ahead of Alexandre Mostini FRA and Marijn Brinkert NED. Morgan Mazuay SUI (rank 7) and Damian Berther SUI (rank 8) also started well. There are 250 Optis from 7 nations at the start. There is also a Swiss lead in the Opti-Benjamins (U12): Alec Detrey SUI shares the lead with Charles Ganivet FRA. In ILCA 4, Floris Schraffordt NED won all 3 races, Lenny Züger SUI and Ennio Turrin SUI follow in 8th and 9th place. In ILCA 6, Daan Boekholt NED leads ahead of Linda Hensel GER. Anja Von Allmen SUI is provisionally behind on rank 18 with ranks 8/dnc/3. In the Nacra 15, Bart Koojman/Femme Rijk NED took the lead. Marie Mazuay/Clément Guignard SUI and Axel Grandjean/Noëmi Fehlmann SUI follow in 3rd and 4th. In the 29er, Olaf Ganzevles/Stijn Gast NED are in front, Nicola Comby/Pierre July SUI are 8th of the 90 teams. All rankings and the photos by Jürg Von Allmen.
