It was not until late in the afternoon that the final race could start in Rapperswil in a moderate breeze. ----- In the duel for the title, Hubert Merkelbach/Kilian Weise GER fulfilled their duty by winning the race, but Urs Hunkeler/Enrico De Maria YTL defended their lead by one point with a 2nd place in the race.
