After a slow start yesterday afternoon, the Séchard, the local thermal wind, kicked in at 8-10kts, good enough for the foiling TF35 catamarans to fly away in front, reaching speeds of up to 25kts. ----- In a close final, 'Alinghi' with Arnaud Psarofaghis SNG was able to catch 'Realteam' with Jerôme Clerc SNG after 3 hours of racing and also 'Spindrift' with Yann Guichard FRA passed. ----- Behind the TF35 cats, the D35 catamarans of Nicolas Grange SNG and Christian Wahl SNG follow in 8th and 9th place. ----- Best monohull is the Luthi 1090 of Philippe De Weck SNG in 22nd place, followed directly behind by François Thorens CVVT with his Psaros 40. ----- After more than 11 hours of racing, the smaller classes only reached the finish line early this morning. Loris Von Siebenthal YCG mastered the large fleet of the Surprise to finish 58th of the 137 teams that terminated the race. ----- All rankings and the report.
