49er, 49erFX, Nacra 17 - European Championship 2022 - Aarhus DEN - Day 1

There was a lot of wind yesterday at the start of the joint European Championships of the three Olympic speed classes, with the large fleets battling across the laps in up to 30kn. In the 49er Bart Lambriex/Floris Van de Werken NED took the lead with ranks 2/3/1. Peters/Sterritt GBR follow 2 points behind, Prettner/Flachberger AUT are 3. Fischer/Rieger GER are 5th with ranks 12/1/1. Joshua Richner/Nilo Schärer SUI also started well, with ranks 9/14/6 they are 27th out of 88 teams from 33 nations and 4 continents. In the 49erFX Johanne and Andrea Schmidt DEN used their home advantage and came out on top with ranks 2/3/2. Stephanie Roble/Maggie Shea USA follow 2 points behind.
