ILCA 6 - Youth European Championship - Thessaloniki GRE - Day 5

High summer weather and moderate winds between 10 and 12 knots characterised the second day of finals, again two races each were sailed, in both rankings there were changes in the lead: While Roos Wind NED dropped back to 4 in the girls' fleet with ranks 14/dsq, Eve McMahon IRL took the lead as best of the day (3/3). Before today's final two races, her lead over Emma Mattivi ITA is now 12 points. Petra Marendic CRO has moved up to third place, with a 16-point gap she also remains in the title race. Léonie Baudet SUI follows on rank 41 of the 106 participants - the ranking list girls. In the men's event, the title decision seems to have been made: Alexandros Elphteriadis GRE has taken the lead with a 22 points lead. Ole Schweckendiek GER has dropped back to 2nd place after a mediocre day (27/25). Yogev Alcalay ISR follows in 3rd. Eliot Raison SUI is 22nd, Benjamin Dufour SUI follows in 62nd place of the 284 participants - the ranking list boys and the daily report.
