29er - World Championship 2022 - El Balis ESP - Day 1

Light winds marked the start day of the 29er World Championship in Spain. The fleet was divided into 5 groups and sailed 2 races each. Soma Kis/Attila Juhasz HUN took the lead with ranks 1 and 2, only one point behind a quartet with equal points, led by Alex Demurtas/ Giovanni Santi ITA. Constantin Higgs/Itay Geller SUI are the best of the large Swiss delegation in 52nd place. There are 242 teams at the start. The ranking list and the event website.
