The 49ers started their final races in Gold and Silverfleet yesterday. Mikolaj Staniul/Kuba Sztorch POL lead by 11 points over Jack Ferguson/Max Paul AUS before today's final day. Tiago Quevedo/Breno Kneipp BRA follow in third place, another 10 points back. Joshua Richner/Milo Schärer SUI moved up to 7th, their gap to a medal is 24 points, with 3 more races scheduled today. The 49er ranking. In the 49erFX, Sebastian Menzies/George Lee AUS continue to sail away as the only men's team in front. Behind them, the chasers have moved closer together: ranks 2 (Jelena Wolff/Carl Slot DEN) to 8 (Sophie Steinlein/Jill Paland GER) are only just 8 points apart. Sophie Mosegaard/Fiona Schärer SUI are now 38th - the ranking 49erFX. In the Nacra 17, the decision has probably been made: Leila Van de Meer/Bjarne Bouwer NED have won all 11 races so far, Margherita Porro/Stefano Dezulian ITA have been 2nd eleven times !
