Optimist, 29er, 420, Europe, ILCA 4 & 6, Pirat - German Youth Championships - Kiel GER - Final results

The joint German championship of all youth classes came to an end yesterday in Kiel. Although there was no wind on the final day, 9 to 12 races were sailed in good conditions the days before. With 279 participants from 12 nations, the fleet of the Optimists was very well represented. With 9 race wins in 12 races, Henric Wigforss SWE was the superior winner; he was already 5th at the Opti World Championships this year. In the 29er Anton and Johann Sach GER won clearly. Ikke Huber/Liam Berger SUI had to stop the series after 8 of the 16 races and finished 31st. In the ILCA 4 there was a home win by Leif Lüders GER, in the ILCA 6 Ole Schweckendiek GER won 11 of the 12 races ! And also in the 420 there were clear winners with Johann Emmer/Jannies Liebig GER.
