ILCA 6 & 7 - Master European Championship - L'Escala ESP - Day 4

The seabreeze filled in again in Escala yesterday and two more races could be sailed in a 12-15kn wind. ----- In the ILCA 7 Apprentice, Master and Great Grand Master classifications, Matej Valic CRO was again the best of the day with a 1st and 2nd place, and leads by 11 points over Peter Hurley GBR before today's final heats. Patrick Fleischhacker SUI improved to 22nd place. ----- In the ILCA 7 Grand Masters, José-Maria Van der Ploeg ESP is still leading. Tomas Nordquist SWE moved up to 2nd place. Markus Ochs SUI is now 22nd. Beat Heinz SUI follows in 30th. ----- In the ILCA 6 Apprentice and Master fleet, Xavi Tous ESP has maintained his lead. ----- In the Grandmasters ranking, Gilles Coadou FRA is now already 24 points ahead. ----- Jeff Loosemore AUS extended his lead in the Great Grand Masters and Legends to 6 points.
