On Lake Baldeney in Essen, a reservoir of the Ruhr, the 2.4m started their European regatta season at the weekend. On Saturday, 3 races could be sailed in rainy weather, on Sunday no more sailing was allowed due to high water. ----- With a constant series, Urs Infanger SUI took the victory one point ahead of Bruce Hill GBR.
