420, 470 - Youth European Championship 2023 - Gdynia POL - Day 2

With two races each, the Junior European Championships in the 420 and 470 continued yesterday in Gdynia. ----- In the 420 Open ranking, Jaime Ayarza/Mariano Hernandez ESP took the lead one point ahead of Iakovina Kerkezou/Danae Giannouli GRE. As best of the day (1/2) Alice Vandi/Juliette Bourgeois FRA moved up to rank 3. Valentina Steinlein/Lea Adolph GER follow in 4th place only one point behind. Thanks to the discard (rank 32), Nino-Livio Löfteröd/Samuel Berther SUI moved up to rank 11 with yesterdays ranks 4 and 12. Theo Elbel/Liam Kuster SUI improved to 49th place out of the 110 teams thanks to a 9th. ----- In the 420 U17 classification, Hannes Wehrle/Finn Meichle GER and Jaka Valjavec/Vid Dobrina SLO are tied at the top. Esther Rodenhausen/Luisa Becker GER are the best women's team in 10th place. Svenja Müller/Luna Zueger SUI follow in 42nd place out of 63 teams. ----- In the 470, Matisse Pacaud/Lucie De Gennes FRA extended their lead to 11 points already. ----- All rankings and the event website.
