Dragon - Goldcup 2023 - Torbay GBR - Day 2

Moderate and very inconsistent winds characterised the second day of the Gold Cup. ----- After his victory in the first race, Lawrie Smith GBR and his team were again in the lead after the second upwind yesterday, but after a collision in the dense pack around the buoy, they suffered a broken mast through no fault of their own. Michael Zankel GER inherited the race win, Lawrie Smith GBR received redress from the jury and thus continues to lead the classification. Wolf Waschkuhn SUI moved up to 2nd with a 4th place, and Dirk Oldenburg SUI was also up front in 3rd, moving into the top 10. ----- The ranking, the report and the Facebook page with videos and pictures.
