SSL47 - Gold-Cup, 1/16-Finals - Gran Canaria ESP - Final Day

Poor winds on the final day of the 1/16 finals of the Gold Cup, only two of the four groups were able to finish their final race. In Group 2, Hungary with Zsombor Beresz managed to win the group thanks to a race win, while Tahiti also advanced to the 1/8 finals in 2nd place. In Group 3, Portugal won the race and thus the group, with South Africa being the second team to progress to the next round. In the other two groups, Chile and Malaysia and Slovenia and Lithuania are through to the next round. The Swiss team with Eric Monnin will start the Goldcup in the 1/8 finals strting today, facing Chile, South Africa and Norway in their group. The report with the rankings.
