With moderate winds between 8 and 12 knots, but rough waves, the ILCA-6 Olympic Women's World Championship began yesterday in Argentina. After one race in each group, the day had to be cancelled due to thunderstorms. ----- The day's victories went to Julia Büsselberg GER and Line Flem-Höst NOR, with Carolina Albano ITA and Emma Plaesschart BEL sharing third place. ----- The Swiss women also got off to a good start: Maud Jayet SUI finished 4th in her group and is on 7th place, and Anja Von Allmen SUI also achieved a top ten result in her group and is 17th out of 103 participants from 46 nations. ----- The ranking list and the daily report.
