420 - World Championship 2024 - Rio de Janeiro BRA - Day 1

Moderate winds also in Rio, and at the start of the 420 World Championship, both fleets were able to finish two races each. ----- Lucas Freitas/Victoria Back BRA lead the Open fleet with 1st and 2nd places on their home waters. Emma Maltese/Mattia Tognocci ITA and Lysander Winter/Constantin Bötsch GER are the first pursuers. Paula and Isabel Laiseca ESP and Iakovina Kerkezou/Danai Giannouli GRE are tied for the lead in the women's event.
