Figaro 3 - Solo Guy Cotten - Concarneau FRA - Day 1

The French single-handed annual championship, a series of single-handed regattas, began yesterday with the Solo Guy Cotten, culminating in the Solitaire du Figaro in August. A first 33-mile coastal race was on the program yesterday. ----- Loïs Berrehar FRA won in fresh winds, while Anaelle Patusch SUI, who was sailing for the first time in the class, came 29th out of the 35 participants from 3 nations. The 20-year-old from Geneva began her career in the ILCA and in the 29er, and was able to gain her first offshore experience with Alan Roura SUI and Justine Mettraux SUI. ----- Today, an 11-mile coastal race is on the program.
