Contrary to the forecast, the announced 'Meltemi' did not fill in at the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast yesterday, and an 8 to 10 kn light wind prevailed during the last fleetraces, that brought a number of final decision. Piotr Myszka POL extended his lead to 22 points and is the new European Champion in the RS:X men before today's Medal Race. The fight for the other medal remains open with Byron Kokkalanis GRE two points ahead of Shahar Zubari ISR and another 6 points Ivan Pastor ESP.
In the RS:X women, all medal winners are known before the Medal Race. Zofia Klepacka POL führt leads 20 points in front of Lee-el Korzits ISR, and another 20 points behind is Paulin Perrin FRA. Blanca Manchon ESP has a theoretical chance to overtake Perrin and secure the Bronze Medal.
Polish wins also in the Youth Europeans very likely. Piotr Tarnacki POL has a 10 points' advance on Louis Giard FRA in the Boys category. Kamila Smektala POL and Agnjeszka Bielska POL have a big lead in the Girls category.
