Contrary to the weather forecast announcing little to no wind, the opening day of the Dragon European Championship was blessed with perfect wind conditions around 12-18 kn. Winners of the day were Markus Wieser GER/Sergey Pugachev RUS/Diego Negri ITA. Jens Christensen DEN and Anatoly Loginov RUS with their teams followed on the ranks 2 and 3.
