IMOCA Open 60 - Vendée Globe 2016/17 - Records, records ....

The 2016/17 Vendée Globe not only provided records on the water, but also ashore. Yesterday, the organisers presented media data and Race Village visitor statistics. The TV coverage of 1236 hours on 97 Channels in 190 countries is twice the volume of the last edition. 71 mio video sessions were called on the official website. The Facebook page had 236'000 followers. And last but not least, the Race Village was visited by 2,25 mio spectators.
