Two races were sailed yesterday on day one of the 2017 Optimist World Championship in Pattaya THA. The record-size 281 boats' fleet from 61 nations is split in four Groups.
Olivier Jaquet NED won both races of his Group and is the first overall leader ahead of Marco Gradoni ITA and Haoze Fang CHN on the ranks 2 and 3. Beatriz Gago POR is the best girl on rank 11.
