470 - World Championship 2017 - Thessaloniki GRE - Day 5 - the Swiss

Only one race could be completed late in the afternoon in a very light wind.
With a 9th place, Linda Fahrni/Maja Siegenthaler SUI defended their 5th rank overall, but they lost some points on the Medal ranks. The clear objective in today's last three Final races is to reduce the gap on the four teams in front, to start in tomorrow's Medal race of the 10 best from a favorable position.
The 470 men Silverfleet completed two races to forget for Kilian Wagen/Grégoire Siegwart SUI, who booked a disqualification and a premature start penalty relegating them on rank 6 (=42nd overall). Yves Mermod/Cyril Schüpbach SUI follow on rank 50. Thanks to a 7th race rank, David Biedermann/Jann Schüpbach SUI moved up on rank 56.
