Solo Around the World Record from East to West - Yves Le Blevec FRA - Day 9

Yves Le Blevec FRA on his Maxi-Trimaran 'Actual' will cross the Equator today after 9 days underway. Not a top time, as the Frenchman was sailing conservatively to stress the equipment at a minimum. The real challenge will begin after Cape Horn when Le Blévec has to tack upwind in the Westwind belt around the globe.
