Transatlantic Records - Atlantic crossing in a wine barrel !

In early January, the Frenchman Jean-Jacques Savin plans to cross the Atlantic Ocean from the Canary Islands to the Carribeans in a 3-meter-wine-barrel, driven by the currents and prevailing trade winds. He estimates that his journey will last approximately three months.
