Around the World Record - Trophée Jules Verne - Spindrift - Day 8

Yesterday, 'Spindrift' slightly veered on a more easterly course to shorten the distance to the Cape of Good Hope as much as possible avoiding the lulls of the prevailing St-Helena anticyclone over the South Atlantic. However, the Maxi Multihull has lost some speed and with a 23kn average, the advantage on the record was reduced to 497nm this morning UTC.
