The stormy Eastwind inhibited racing on the final day of the 5o5 Europacup Round one on Cannes Bay yesterday. Overall winner after four races are therefore Michael Quirk/Tim Needham AUS ahead of the veteran Howie Hamlin with Jeff Nelson USA and Ian Pinell/Russ Clark GBR. The multiple World Champions Hunger/Jess GER on 4th missed the podium by one point. The best Swiss Florian Stauffer/Valéry Jacot SUI finished 15th in the 31 boat fleet from 6 nations.
