Olympic Games 2024 - No 2-Person-Mixed-Offshore-Race in Marseille

In a letter, the International Olympic Committee has asked World Sailing to name an alternative Olympic discipline to replace the proposed 2-person mixed offshore event. Among other concerns, the safety measures and the effort for a television broadcast are considered too expensive. World Sailing must now submit an alternative proposal by 26 May, and the IOC will then make a final decision on 9 June.
