49er, 49erFX - Championship - Cascais POR - Day 1 - the Swiss

The Olympic skiffs started their Cascais Championship yesterday in classic conditions with 15 knots of wind and good waves. ----- In the 49ersFX with most international top teams competing, Lili Sebesi/Yann Jauvin FRA lead the classification after 3 races. Tamara Echegoyen/Paula Barcelo ESP and Martine Grael/Kahena Kunze BRA follow in second and third places. ----- In the disappointingly small 49er fleet, Olympic participants from overseas nations meet up with young teams from Europe. The ranking is led by Ian Barrows/Hans Henken USA, followed 4 points behind by Nevin Snow/Dane Wilson USA.
