The Swiss regatta season is over, and we have once again reported extensively on the lively events on our lakes this year - thanks to the web masters of the clubs and classes for their service! Internationally, however, the season knows no pause: major events such as the Youth World Championships, the Match Race World Championships and the IMOCA Transatlantic Regattas have just come to an end, and the Christmas classics are already starting (Palamos, ILCA in Hvar, Star in Nice, Sydney-Hobart). And the super sailing year 2024 (Olympics, America's Cup, Vendée Globe) starts on 7 January with a first highlight, the Arkea-Ultime Challenge, the first single-handed non-stop round-the-world race for Ultime Trimarans!
