The Bol d’Or Mirabaud is the most important inland lake regatta in the world. Started in 1939, it welcomes mono-hulls and multihulls each year on Lake Geneva, starting off the Société Nautique of Geneva, Switzerland. More than 500 boats participate in this 123 kilometer (66.5 nautical mile) race from Geneva to Le Bouveret and back. The wind forecast - 3-4 bft south-westerly - promises a fast lake rounding today, favoring the big M1 catamarans. Among the former winners of the Bol' d'Or are Dennis Connor USA and Russell Coutts NZL. Here all entry lists. The race can be followed over GPS tracking starting at 10h CET. The event website.
