Olympic Classes Trofeo Princesa Sofia Palma de Mallorca ESP Day 2 the Swiss
After the disappointing first day, Mateo Sanz-Lanz SUI came back strongly in the RS:X men windsurfers yesterday and as best of the day with the ranks 2 and 4, the Swiss Olympian moved up on rank 10 overall. The Swiss Olympian 470 women and 49er teams keep on sailing in the top ranks. Linda Fahrni/Maja Siegenthaler SUI on rank 6 in the 470 women fleet are only 5 points behind the 1st position. In the 49ers, Sébastien Schneiter/Lucien Cujean SUI on rank 14 stay on track for the Goldfleet. Kilian Wagen/Joan Herp SUI/ESP on rank 25 have good chances too to qualify for the Finals of the best 28 in today's races. David Biedermann/Jann Schüpbach SUI on rank 42 were 17 points behind the Goldfleet this morning. Maud Jayet SUI is on the 35th place after 4 races, but the Goldfleet (top 42) should be safe. Andrea Nordquist SUI follows on rank 55. Nils Theuninck SUI on rank 32 is only 3 points behind the Goldfleet cut of rank 28, an excellent result in this first Finn regatta !
