IMOCA Open 60 - The Ocean Race - Leg 3 - Day 4

Already after 4 days of racing and without massive storms, the Southern Ocean is taking its toll: Three of the five teams are struggling with material damage: 'Guyot' (Benjamin Dutreux FRA/Robert Stanjek GER) is on its way back to Cape Town after the boat's structure around the foils apparently weakened. 'Malizia' with Boris Herrmann GER suffered a crack in the top part of the mast, which can be repaired. In the early morning hours, 'Biotherm' also changed course towards the south, why is not yet known.
