Optimist, Yardstick - regate delle Castagne - CV Lago die Lugano

Two races were sailed at the Lake Lugano all-classes Autumn Regatta. In the Racers, the Melges 24 of Ivano Ghirlanda CVLL finished first, the best Cruiser skipper was Gianacarlo Soldati CVLL with his Tonic 23 and in the centerboard dinghies, Philippe Tibaldo CVLL on his Laser 4.7 was on top. The largest fleet, the 23 Optimists, three races were sailed and Erik Orlandini ITA won ahead of Julian Losekoot ITA at equl points. Giorgia Ghezzi SUI/CVLL on 3rd missed the victory by one point only. For the first time, the disabled-sailing Hansa class participated with Federico Campana as winner.
