Melges 24 - European Sailing Series - Act 1 - Rovinj CRO - Day 1

With 10-15 knots of wind, conditions were good yesterday in Rovinj for the start of the European Sailing Series, and 3 races were sailed. ----- Ante Botica CRO and his team came out on top with the 1/3/7th places. One point behind follows the Finn Olympian Ivan Kljakovic-Gaspic CRO. Sergio Caramel ITA is 3rd. 30 teams from 6 nations are competing, including for the first time Pietro D'Ali ITA, one of the very few who has competed in the Olympics (Star), the America's Cup and the Whitbread Round the World Race.
