The A-Cat World Championship in Punta Ala continued yesterday with two races held in a moderate sea breeze. ----- Jakub Surowiecz POL was again the best of the day with 1st and 2nd place and extended his lead over Darren Bundock AUS to 5 points. Mischa Heemskerk NED is still 3rd, and Robin Maeder SUI improved to 23rd place. Loïc Dony SUI (28th place), Benjamin Oudot SUI (29th place), and Riccardo Giuliani SUI (31st place) are also in the top third of the foilers. ----- In the Classics, 79-year-old Ben Hall USA won the first race! In the 2nd race, he finished 7th and moved up to 16th place. Gustavo Doreste ESP won the second race and thus took the lead in the Classics' overall standings. Scott Anderson AUS follows 10 points behind in 2nd place, and Andrew Landenberger AUS is now 3rd. Matthieu Verrier SUI is the best Swiss in 23rd place. ----- The rankings and the Facebook page with pictures and reports.
