Vendée Globe history was made yesterday when three solo skippers crossed the finish line at one after the other within three hours of each other, the closest finish between a trio of boats since the solo non-stop around the world race was first contested in 1989. Jean Pierre Dick FRA secured the 4th place. Yann Eliès crossed the line on 5th one hour and 25 minutes after Dick. One hour and 30 minutes later, Jean Le Cam terminated the Vendée on rank 6. It will take another 7 days till Eric Burton FRA will reach the finishing line as 7th. The race tracker, the reports and the videos.
