On the final day of the Maxi-Cup on Sardinia, the 45 super yachts enjoyed another perfect sailing day with sun and a 10-12kn wind. A 30nm Coastal Race was on the program except the Wallys that sailed short races.
The surprising overall winner in the Wallys was Terry Hui CAN in his maiden regatta. With his 'small' 80-foot Wally, he controlled the two bis 100-foot yachts. In most classes, the overall winners were known prematurely, such as 'Topas' with Peter Holmberg ISV in the Super-Maxis or 'Momo' with Dieter Schön GER as the 2018 Maxi-72 World Champion.
All ranking lists and the final report.
