Star - World Championship 2021 - Kiel GER - Final results - the Swiss

The Star World Championship in Kiel came to an end yesterday with one last race. ----- Diego Negri ITA/Frithjof Kleen GER, crowned world champions prematurely, did not compete. In the fight for the silver medal, Tonci Stipanovic/Tudor Bilic CRO managed to push Hans Spitzauer/Christian Nehammer AUT to third place on the last upwind. The defending champions Kusznierewicz POL/Prada BRA dropped out of the title race due to a premature start. The Swiss also had to accept early starts: Piet Eckert SUI/Frederico Melo POR dropped back to 13th, Bernhard Seger/Walter Oess SUI were 28th, while Jürg Ryffel/Beat Heinz SUI sailed their best race and finished 33rd of the 82 competitors. ----- The results list and the final report.
