12m - World Championship 2024 - Porquerolles FRA - Day 1

Fresh easterly winds of up to 30 kn prevented the first races of the 12m World Championship in Porquerolles yesterday. As many as 14 of these former America's Cup yachts are at the start, divided into two age classes. The crews are also prominent: Olympic medallists Torben Grael BRA, Santiago Lange ARG and Jesper Bank DEN will be taking part, as will Pietro d'Ali ITA and Marco Grael BRA. ----- The reports.
