420, 470 - Youth European Championship 2024 - Thessaloniki GRE - Final results

The Junior European Championship was concluded yesterday in Thessaloniki with the medal race for the 470s and the final races for each of the two 420 fleets. ----- Roy Leyy/Ariel Gal ISR came out on top in the 470 with a 7-point lead over Manon Pennaneac'h/Pierre Williot FRA. Thanks to their victory in the Medal Race, Lomane Valade/Julien Bunel FRA advanced on the third place. ----- In the 420, Lisa Vucetti/Vittorio Bonifacio ITA also took the Junior European Championship title. Iakovina Kerkezou/Danae Giannouli GRE and Richard Sykes/Violet Martin USA followed behind. Damian Berther/Luna Züger SUI were the best Swiss in 86th place. Greek double victory in the 420 U17 classification: Sokratis Chamarias/Iason Xypas GRE moved to the top with a 2nd place in the final race, followed by Ionas Stromatias/Konstantinos Pigis GRE 4 points behind.
