J/70 - World Championship 2024 - Palma ESP - Final results

The J/70 World Championship came to an end yesterday in Palma with a final race, again held in light winds. ----- The team of Douglas Newhouse USA (with Jeremy Wilmot USA at the helm), which had been in the lead from the start, held on to the top spot and won by 11 points from Ralph Vasconsellos BRA. Thanks to victory in the final race, title defender Charles Thompson GBR moved up to third place. This makes him one of just 4 Europeans to finish in the top 20! The Swiss remained in the midfield: Nick Zeltner SUI finished 54th, directly behind him Tom Studer SUI in 55th, and Stefan Seger SUI in 58th. ----- The ranking list and the final report.
