The fleet of 40 participants also includes two participants, Benjamin Ferré FRA and Guirec Soudée FRA, who have found their way to ocean sailing through their thirst for adventure and are now determined to tackle the race. Benjamin Ferré FRA discovered sailing while travelling the world and shortly afterwards was already successful at the Mini-Transat with a 3rd place. Guirec Soudée FRA rowed across the Atlantic twice before setting up a Vendée Globe project in just 4 years!
