IRC - Sydney-Hobart Race - Sydney AUS - Day 1

The start of the 86th Sydney-Hobart Race took place early this morning in fresh north-easterly winds. The wind forecasts promise a record-fast race (the record is 1 day 8 hours), with the wind only shifting west on Bass Street on the approach to Tasmania.
