Finn - World Masters - Medemblik NED - Day four
Friday, June 20, 2025
The penultimate day of the Finn World Masters 2025 in Medemblik NED once again brought summer weather with high temperatures. The wind was even lighter than on previous days, ranging from 5 to 8 knots, and was also more unstable; however, all four groups were able to complete the planned two races. ----- Pieter-Jan Postma NED, ranked 1st and 4th on the day, clinched his second World Masters title before today's final race. Laurent Hay FRA, in second place, is only 3 points behind, but cannot overtake Postma due to his poorer race rankings so far. The two are 10 points ahead of Fabian Lemmel GER in third place. Around 10 boats are still fighting for the bronze medal in the overall standings. ----- It was a tough day for Peter Theurer YCB (ranks 42 and 12). Now in 29th place, he is only 2 points ahead of Swiss champion Simon Bovay MY (ranks 4/7) in 30th place. ----- The Day 4 news, the results, the photo gallery and the Video Clip from yesterday.
