 AC40 - Womens America's Cup - Barcelona ESP - First races today From today, it's the women's turn in Barcelona! As in the Youth America's Cup, the AC40s will be sailed in two groups with fleet races. First up today is Group A: Alinghi with Nathalie Brugger SUI will sail against the other teams involved in the Louis Vuitton Cup: New Zealand (Jo Aleh), Italy (Giulia Conti), Great Britain (Hannah Mills), Team France (Manon Audinet) and the USA (Francesca Clapcich) - an illustrious fleet.  ILCA 6 - Womens World Championship 2024 - Mar del Plata ARG - Final results The ILCA 6 World Championships in Argentina came to an end yesterday with the Medal Race. ----- Anne-Marie Rindom DEN was crowned the new world champion early on. Charlotte Rose USA, the young American, managed the surprise with 2nd place. In the duel for the bronze medal, Maud Jayet SUI was beaten by her training partner Emma Plasschaert BEL. ILCA 6 - Womens World Championship 2024 - Mar del Plata ARG - Day 5 - Maud Jayet SUI im Medaillen-Kampf

Three more races were sailed yesterday in Argentina in 8-13 knots of wind. ----- After finishing the day in 4th/14th/1st place, Anne-Marie Rindom DEN is already the new world champion before today's medal race. Charlotte Rose USA, yesterday's best of the day, has moved up to second place and is already 21 points behind. A further 11 points behind her, Maud Jayet SUI and Emma Plasschaert BEL share 3rd place on equal points.  ILCA 6 - Women's World Championship 2024 - Mar del Plata ARG - Today Start Yesterday, there were good conditions with big waves for the practice race - see pictures from the training. Today, the first races will be on the program, counting not only for the title, but also as qualifiers for seven 2024 Olympic nations' berths. ----- At the start are 105 women from 47 nations. Switzerland Vice World Champion Maud Jayet SUI, who has already qualified for the Olympic Games, and U21 Vice World Champion Anja Von Allmen SUI are participating. ----- The first results should be available around midnight CET on the event website.  ILCA 6 - Womens World Championship 2024 - Mar del Plata ARG The ILCA 6 Women's World Championship begins on Thursday in Argentina with the Practice Race.  J/70 - Womens Champions League 2023 - Qualifier - Berlin GER - Day 1 Good conditions yesterday on the Wannsee for the start of the Women's Champions League Qualifier, and 6 flights could be sailed. 21 teams shared the 7 boats. The home team from VSaWannsee took a clear lead with 6 points, followed by the Swedish SS Åmålsviken in second place. Of the five Swiss teams, RV Bodensee made an excellent start and is in 6th place. The ILCA 6 World Championships came to an end yesterday with two races sailed in a moderate sea breeze of around 10 knots. ----- Anne-Marie Rindom DEN easily defended her lead with a 2nd and a 9th place and took the title 20 points ahead of Maud Jayet SUI (8/3 yesterday). Thanks to a race win in the final race, Julia Buesselberg GER moved up to 33rd place.  Womens Sailing Champions League - Lausanne SUI - Final results With light winds, three more rounds were sailed yesterday morning on Lake Geneva. Kongelig Dansk YC with Lotte Meldgaard DEN moved up to the top. Equal on points and only one point behind are Hamburger SC with Silke Basedow GER and Aarhus SK with Line Just DEN. In 4th place, YC Arbon with Livia Naef SUI missed the podium by only 2 points. With ranks 6 (SV Thalwil, Mara Bezel), 8 (CN Morges, Manon ivell), 9 (YC Bielersee (Lea Tschudi), 10 (YC Lausanne, Stèphanie Hasler) and 11 (RC Oberhofen, Lisa Thönen), the Swiss women were able to use their home advantage in the fleet of 24 teams from 11 nations.
