In the run-up to the Moth World Championships starting next week, the final test regatta, the Oceania Championship, got underway this morning. Already 58 of the 150 world championship participants are taking part. In good wind conditions - see gallery - 4 races were completed. Mattias Coutts NZL took the lead with two race wins. Enzo Balanger FRA follows as the best European in 10th place, Jann Schüpach SUI is the best of the four Swiss in 19th place, ahead of the World sailor of the year Diego Botin ESP in 24th place. The other Swiss did not finish all races, Sébastien Schneiter SUI is next in 36th place. 4 more races are on the programme tomorrow. The ranking list and the Facebook page.
