Before the qualifications for tomorrow's Medal Races are finalised today, some decisions already seem to have been made: 4-time Palma winner Michael Beckett GBR leads the ILCA 7 by 11 points over Elliott Hanson GBR, Lorenzo Chiavarini ITA is already 34 points behind in 3rd place, Max Maeder SGP is now 19 points ahead of Valentin Bontus AUT in the men's kite, the two are likely to qualify directly for the Medal Series final, Benoît Gomez FRA is already 41 points behind in 3rd place. Martin Wrigley/Bettine Harris GBR lead the 470s with a 9-point lead over the equal-scoring duo Simon Diesch/Anna Marfort GER and Elena Berta/Giulio Calabro ITA. In the 49er, Erwan Fischer/Clément Pequin took the lead with a 24-point advantage over Richard Schultheis/Fabian Rieger GER. In the 49erFX, the top 3 are just 4 points apart, with Freya Black/Saskia Tidey GBR in the lead. Joshua Richner/Corne Janssen SUI and Pablo Rüegge/Finn Meichle SUI follow in the Silverfleet in 50th and 51st place. The Chinese continue to dominate the women's Kite Foil: Wan Li CHN leads by 3 points ahead of Si Wang CHN. In the ILCA 6, Maria Erdi HUN is now 10 points ahead of Daisy Coolingridge GBR. Anja Von Allmen SUI (25th place), Maud Jayet SUI (29th place) and Rosine Baudet SUI (35th place) are likely to miss out on qualifying for the medal race. Grae Morris AUS dominates the iQ-Foil windsurfers with a 36-point lead over Nicolo Renna ITA. Elia Colombo SUI is 45th. Emma Wilson GBR leads the iQ-Foil women's classification by 22 points.
