Trophée Jules Verne - Trimaran IDEC - Day 36
Saturday, January 21, 2017
Francis Joyon FRA and his team crossed the Equator yesterday in the record time of 35 days and 4 hours. With only 289 nm in 24 hours, it was the slowest day of the round-the-world record attempt so far. The northern hemisphere trade winds ahead will hopefully speed up the trimaran 'IDEC' again soon to hold or better improve the advantage on the record of 1'286 nm this morning.
